Donors’ personal data (first name, last name, address, phone number, email address) is confidential information, which the FCC Foundation Sidereal Clipa collects and uses with the utmost responsibility by creating data protection policies and implementing these policies throughout the organization.

Thus, the FCC Sidereal Clipa will only ask donors for information that is necessary to:

• recording the donation in the organisation’s financial accounting records
• confirmation of receipts
• information on the destination of the donated sums
• other possibilities to support the work of the organisation

Donors can also request the addition, correction or deletion of personal data, according to GDPR regulations.

The GDPR cannot override national legal provisions that establish the retention of personal data in financial documents. For example, according to the law, personal data (name, surname, address, ID data) in financial documents (invoices, bank statements, receipts, registers) will be kept for the period of time established by law from the date of their generation. In this case the information cannot be deleted, even if there is a request to do so from the donor.

If deletion of the information is not contrary to the law, the donor’s personal data will be removed from the database within 30 calendar days from the date of the request.

Please be assured that:

• We will never provide information about you to other companies with marketing programs.
• We will keep you informed of our activities, both in terms of our promotional and fundraising campaigns and the services we offer.
• We will only use your information where we have your prior consent.
• You can always let us know how you would like Hospices of Hope Moldova to communicate with you, including how you would like to be contacted. We assure you that we will fully respect your request.
• We will take all security measures to protect your personal data through security policies and procedures.
